What You Didn't Know About ...

Michelle Fish, CEO of Integra Staffing

When did you join the Chamber?

I joined the Chamber in 1993 in the beginning of my career. I joined because I wanted to network with individuals who wanted to grow both personally and professionally.

What is the best business advice you've ever received?

If it doesn't matter a year from now, it's not worth worrying about.

What's the best book you've read recently?

Blue Ocean Strategy by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne

Did you have a mentor?

I have several mentors, coaches and also have a Board of Advisors through my Entrepreneur Organization.

What advice do you have for other Chamber members?

Get involved! I laugh because there are six degrees of separation with the Charlotte Chamber members. Chances are you can trace or find any business leader linked to this organization. Your membership allows you instant credibility to reach out and introduce yourself to other fellow members. How easy is that?

What is your favorite Charlotte attraction?

The Children's Theatre of Charlotte at ImaginOn.

What do you think is the most exciting, recent development in Charlotte's business community?

Mayor Pat McCrory declaring his candidacy for N.C. governor.
