Looking for the right vendor to fit your business needs? Chamber MarketPlace is a feature on www.charlottechamber.com that connects Chamber members with companies and individuals in search of vendors.

How does MarketPlace work? Companies in search of vendors can post requests for proposals (RFPs) online. The companies can choose from a list of vendor categories to make their search for the right vendor easier. Companies must provide detailed information about their request, including contact information, objective, detailed description, questions for vendors, vendor category, project start date and proposal due date.

Chamber members who participate in MarketPlace can choose categories they wish to watch. Members can configure multiple "saved searches" that include keyword phrases and/or categories. Any RFP that meets the search criteria saved by a company is sent via email to that company as soon as it is posted. Chamber members can log onto the free service at any time to view RFPs and submit bids and proposals.

Members and non-members can post projects or requests to the MarketPlace system, but only Charlotte Chamber members can participate as vendors and bid on jobs.
